Our journey began with a simple idea: to create treats that are as nutritious and safe as the food we’d serve at our own table. This mission became deeply personal with our German Shepherd, Buck, who is the heart and inspiration behind Underwood Dog Bakery. Sadly, we lost Buck to cancer in 2021. Just before his passing, we discovered the alarming truth about the harmful ingredients lurking in many pet foods and treats. Though we didn’t have the chance to improve his diet in time, Buck’s legacy drives us to make a difference for other dogs. In his honor, we started our bakery to provide wholesome, nourishing treats that dogs and their owners can trust. His face in our logo reminds us daily of our mission and the love that started it all.
